Mark Carpenter

Senior Business Development Manager, Aerospace and Defense Technologies

Mark Carpenter is the Senior Business Development Manager for the Aerospace and Defense Technologies segment (ADTech) within Oceaneering International Inc. ADTech provides mission critical solutions and work class service to Defense and Aerospace customers with an annual revenue of $350MM.

Mr. Carpenter joined Oceaneering in 2001 and since 2005, managed ADTech’s business development resources. He leverages his 20 years of experience at Oceaneering to effectively identify, qualify, capture, and respond to defense, federal, commercial, and international business opportunities. He believes in working with customers to deliver customized solutions to meet their specific needs and requirements.

He is a Certified Proposal Professional by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (CPP APMP), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). This unique combination of certifications allows him to provide professionally certified guidance on how to submit and win proposals, understand the contractual requirements, and then how to manage and execute the work.

He received his B.S. from Salisbury State University in Maryland and his M.S. in Management from the University of Maryland University College.
