Stephanie Miele

Owner and Chief Operating Officer at International Training

Stephanie’s journey began at the University of Rhode Island, where she earned a degree inmarine and maritime affairs.

Her time as an undergraduate not only equipped her with knowledge but also ignited her passion for scuba diving, leading her to become an active and engaged member of the scuba community. Her dedication, along with that of her fellow students, played a pivotal role in convincing URI to establish a formal dive program, creating opportunities for experiential learning among students.

Post university graduation, this trajectory took her to becoming the owner and Chief Operating Officer of International Training, where her achievements in the diving industry have steadily grown over the years. Together with her team, she has been instrumental in propelling ITI to remarkable success and expansion on both national and global scales.

One of Stephttps://internationaltraining.us/hanie’s most commendable feats lies in her ability to extend dive education beyond the recreational realm. Through her strategic utilization of International Training’s eLearning program, she has successfully incorporated advanced levels of dive education. Today, International Training stands as a beacon of innovation, offering tailor-made web-based systems for businesses, encompassing certification management, eLearning courses, and customized programs.

Beyond her endeavors with International Training, Stephanie is also the founder of Clear Currents, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering education, conservation, and sustainable utilization of the world’s oceans, rivers, and lakes. Clear Currents serves as a unifying force for individuals driven by their passion for water bodies, effecting change at a grassroots level with a global reach.
