Sarah Deslauriers

Vice President, Carollo Engineers

Sarah is a Vice President for Carollo Engineers and serves as their National Climate Change and Resilience Lead and Chief Technologist in Sustainability.

Her 20-year career has focused on assessing sustainability and vulnerability of water and wastewater systems and embedding resilience into those systems in the context of climate change and other natural hazards, as well as managing greenhouse gas emissions, and evaluating biosolids management/ innovative technologies. She’s a former chair of AWWA’s Climate Change Committee and the 2019 recipient of AWWA’s Water Resource Sustainability Division Outstanding Achievement, Service and Initiative in Sustainability Award. She is also the former chair of WEF’s Greenhouse Gas Subcommittee and the Bioenergy Technology Subcommittee. Sarah has Bachelor and Master degrees of Science in Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Science and a Master’s of Science in Engineering in Environmental Engineering, and a graduate certificate in the Program of Industrial Ecology from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. Sarah is also a registered professional engineer and credentialed Envision Sustainability Professional.
