Mark Stevens

Microsoft Discovery and Quantum team, Member of Technical Staff – Robotics

Mark Stevens is a Member of Technical Staff – Robotics, as part of the Microsoft Discovery and Quantum team supporting commercial and government customers.

Mark has over 30 years in industrial and field robotics and enjoyed a successful career at Oceaneering as Digital Innovation Director prior to joining Microsoft. Within Industry, Mark has worked supporting industry standards around subsea communications and telerobotics based on his work supporting the BP Macondo incident.  Mark is passionate about ocean and aviation-related robotics, cloud technologies, and safe operations in harsh environments. He holds a Masters Degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle University.
