Adil Ashiq

Supply Chain & Logistics Innovation

Adil Ashiq is a noteworthy leader in the maritime industry.

You may know him from his contributing work providing expert analysis on supply chain & maritime intelligence at networks like NBC, CNBC & Freight Waves. Adil serves as the Head of North America for MarineTraffic, the global leader in maritime intelligence. He is also the Co-Founder of several startups focused around maritime technology.

Adil spent the early years of his career sailing as a Merchant Marine Officer, eventually earning his Captains license. In addition to his career at sea, Adil held positions at BCG Digital Ventures, APL Logistics, Willis Towers Watson, United Technologies Corporation, Shell Oil & Gas, focusing on operational efficiency, digital transformation, and sustainability. He is Y Combinator alumni and currently serves on the Alumni Board of Directors at the California Maritime Academy, where he completed his undergrad in Business & Marine Transportation and Masters.
