<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of SAE International (SAEI), the world’s leader in engineering standards serving the global mobility industries. He was responsible for strategy and global operations of SAEI as well as providing leadership to SAEI’s international staff of 350 professionals dedicated to advancing global mobility and design engineering. In addition, he oversaw major business development and strategic alliances, including M&amp;A and joint ventures. He was earlier the CEO of a strategic business unit in Eureka Forbes Limited, a consumer products company with operations across Asia and Europe. Previously, he was the Director of New Business Development for the American Chemical Society, a $600 million+ organization based in Washington DC serving a broad scientific enterprise. He served on the boards of four companies, including as chairman of a technology joint venture in India.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His career spans business management and technology leadership roles in various industries and geographies. Dr. Venkatesh is the recipient of the prestigious American Hero award for an innovative technology implemented across the USA. He earned a B.E. (Hons.) in chemical engineering from BITS, Pilani (India) followed by M.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from University of Pittsburgh (USA), where he won the Outstanding Graduate Student award. He also earned an Executive MBA degree from the Katz School of Business at University of Pittsburgh, where he was honored with Dean’s special recognition for his achievements. He has advanced management diplomas on M&amp;A and Strategic Alliances from Harvard Business School and the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). Dr. Venkatesh has been named in over 10 patents and has authored more than 30 articles and citations in peer-reviewed journals, international conferences and reputed magazines. He is listed in the ‘Who’s Who in Science &amp; Engineering’ and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Xi international honor societies. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Pittsburgh and has given several invited lectures and presentations around the world.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He possesses extensive global experience and exposure to diverse cultures, which is reflected in his diplomatic professionalism, elaborating pragmatic strategies, promoting sustainable practices and effective change management. Celebrated for new ways of thinking, challenging old ideas, and building mutually benefitting partnerships, he leverages a range of influencing styles in ambiguous and distributed environments but primarily utilizes servant leadership style to maximize business value that has a long lasting impact.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Most recently, he spearheaded the Global Fleet Optimization &amp; Decarbonization strategy as Associate Vice President with Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE:RCL), one of the leading cruise companies in the world with a fleet of 67 ships traveling to approximately 1,000 destinations around the world. He led the Energy, Asset, and Program Management, for all 5 cruise brands under the Group’s Umbrella. He was instrumental in transforming key aspects of the Marine Data, Digitalization &amp; Decarbonization strategy, that will not only continue to save millions of dollars, reduce GHG emissions for the Royal fleet but also propel the group towards its destination “Net-Zero”.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Anshul has a Marine Engineering background (BSc. degree from Tolani Maritime Institute conferred on behalf of Birla Institute of Technology &amp; Science, Pilani, India). He sailed the world oceans as an engineer officer for over 5 years before he moved to New York to earn a Master’s degree in business administration from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He then joined Maersk, the world’s leading ocean liner company and did global stints in Singapore, Mumbai, and Copenhagen, where he was responsible for strategizing energy efficiency improvements and emissions reduction of the Maersk Liner fleet.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He has a strong interest in sustainable business operations and fast-track innovation that addresses climate risks. Other than that, his passion lies in cutting-edge technologies, outer space, reading, hiking, and globe-trotting. He lives with his wife in sunny Miami.</p>

She serves as a regional program manager for the Carollo’s R&amp;D practice to connect fundamental and applied research to practical, innovative, and reliable solutions for the water industry.</p>
<p>Jennifer received her BS and PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. Her graduate research focused on the development of photocatalytic systems for removal of contaminants from air and water.</p>
