<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Anshul is a maritime executive with over 20 years of experience in strategic leadership and technical roles scaling sustainable business solutions and creating a multi-dimensional framework to accelerate innovation and change.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He possesses extensive global experience and exposure to diverse cultures, which is reflected in his diplomatic professionalism, elaborating pragmatic strategies, promoting sustainable practices and effective change management. Celebrated for new ways of thinking, challenging old ideas, and building mutually benefitting partnerships, he leverages a range of influencing styles in ambiguous and distributed environments but primarily utilizes servant leadership style to maximize business value that has a long lasting impact.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Most recently, he spearheaded the Global Fleet Optimization &amp; Decarbonization strategy as Associate Vice President with Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE:RCL), one of the leading cruise companies in the world with a fleet of 67 ships traveling to approximately 1,000 destinations around the world. He led the Energy, Asset, and Program Management, for all 5 cruise brands under the Group’s Umbrella. He was instrumental in transforming key aspects of the Marine Data, Digitalization &amp; Decarbonization strategy, that will not only continue to save millions of dollars, reduce GHG emissions for the Royal fleet but also propel the group towards its destination “Net-Zero”.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Anshul has a Marine Engineering background (BSc. degree from Tolani Maritime Institute conferred on behalf of Birla Institute of Technology &amp; Science, Pilani, India). He sailed the world oceans as an engineer officer for over 5 years before he moved to New York to earn a Master’s degree in business administration from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He then joined Maersk, the world’s leading ocean liner company and did global stints in Singapore, Mumbai, and Copenhagen, where he was responsible for strategizing energy efficiency improvements and emissions reduction of the Maersk Liner fleet.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He has a strong interest in sustainable business operations and fast-track innovation that addresses climate risks. Other than that, his passion lies in cutting-edge technologies, outer space, reading, hiking, and globe-trotting. He lives with his wife in sunny Miami.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The organization is the Private Sector Alliance for Resilience Societies and it is led by the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Debbra has
spent portions of her career moving between business ownership and corporate
intrepreneurship – working on diverse issues across a number of sectors and
disciplines.&nbsp; </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In 2014,
following 16 years with DuPont where she held leadership positions in strategic
market &amp; product development, and sustainability, Debbra launched a small
business that leverages global teaming to bring together best-in-class
knowledge and experts.&nbsp; Services include
the models and the means to develop the essential capacities for adapting and
transforming organizations; as well as advice, technical guidance and tools for
‘next gen’ disaster risk reduction/ resilience, climate adaptation, and
sustainable development.&nbsp; The work is aligned
with the Sustainable Development Goals, The Sendai Framework, and the Climate
Agreement. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Debbra is
also a member of the Climate Chain Coalition, the Advisory Council of the
Sustainability Curriculum Consortium, and she serves on the University of Oklahoma
Public Service Institute Coalition.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She is a
graduate of the University of Maine, Portland-Gorham, and holds a Certificate
of Distinction in Transforming Development: The Science and Practice of
Resilience Thinking, from the SDG Academy/Stockholm Resilience Institute, and a
Certificates in Business Sustainability Management from the University of
Colorado at Boulder.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He is a recognized leader in uncrewed systems development and operations. Mr. Manley has been working with marine technology and robotics since 1990. He was a principal in the development of uncrewed marine vehicles at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1993 to 2002. Between 2002 and 2009 Mr. Manley provided marine technology consulting services, primarily to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) where he was the founding Chair of the NOAA-wide AUV Working Group.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In 2009 Mr. Manley transitioned to the private sector, joining Liquid Robotics during its startup phase. There he was responsible for developing new commercial and scientific programs based on the Wave Glider. In 2011 Mr. Manley joined Teledyne Benthos as Senior Director of Business Development where he managed a diverse product portfolio and led the development of a networked systems strategy across Teledyne Marine Systems (Benthos, Webb Research, Gavia, and SeaBotix).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Drawn back to entrepreneurial endeavors Mr. Manley founded Just Innovation Inc. in mid-2015.He supports clients from startups to multi-national corporations with core technical specializations in uncrewed vehicles, robotics, sensors, and undersea systems. Mr. Manley offers clients support with strategy and innovation, business and product development, evangelism, and marketing. In this capacity he serves as Senior Advisor to Oceankind and as a Technology Venture Partner for Alpha Impact Investment Managers (AiiM).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mr. Manley is extensively involved in the marine technology profession through a variety of leadership roles. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Life Member and President of the Marine Technology Society (MTS), a Fellow of the Institute for Marine Engineering Science and Technology (IMAREST) and was a founding member of the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) Advisory Committee. He is dedicated to innovation, serving as an advisor to numerous startup companies and a judge for the XPRIZE Foundation. He holds two patents in the area of uncrewed systems oversight and security.</p>

As co-founder and CEO of Braid Theory, Ann is primarily responsible for partnership building with public entities including ports, utilities and transportation agencies; and private industry. Braid Theory, a strategic consulting firm, connects technology entrepreneurs with industry to build opportunities for market traction and growth.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ann’s areas of expertise also include grant and proposal writing, fundraising, event production, executive training, communication and PR. As Director of Marketing for PortTech Los Angeles, she built the brand identity and led outreach efforts to connect entrepreneurs to market opportunities. Ann began her career as a software programmer in the aerospace industry. After rising to Director of Strategic Planning at the Lockheed Corporation Information Systems Group, Ann left the corporate world to build S’Pacific Image, a graphic design and marketing agency. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan – Dearborn.</p>
