Co-Founder and current COO of Boulder Engineering Studio

Longtime technology and product development veteran. Six published patents/applications with multiple additional filings pending.

Co-Founder and current COO of Boulder Engineering Studio, a multidisciplinary product development consultancy. Prior work at grant funded startup managing development of water treatment coagulation/flocculation monitoring and control sensors.

Personal involvement in >200 products, with multiple commercial and consumer successes and award winning products. Product experience ranging from medical devices (FDA Class 1 & Class 2) to childrens toys. Large breadth of experience with industrial sensors and consumer electronics. Personal specialties include underwater systems and housings, design for extreme environments, high-reliability systems, connected device (IoT) architecture design, and complex manufacturing supply chains.

Mentor for Boomtown Accelerator (Colorado and now remote). Guest lecturer at University of Colorado, Boulder Leeds school of business in entrepreneurship. Volunteer Judge for Co-Labs Governors award supporting state and federal labs recognizing breakthrough and high impact research. Practicing startup and early stage investor, with holdings in more than six, still practicing, entities. Our World Underwater Scholarship Society member and 2007 Recipient of the OWUSS U.S. Navy Ocean Engineering Internship. Father, avid cyclist, award winning underwater photographer/videographer.
