Savannah Kloeden is a Sri Lankan/Australian/American filmmaker and acting director for this years Ocean Exchange internship. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design and will graduate in November 2018.
During the 2018 Gray’s Reef Film Festival, Savannah received an emerging filmmaker award for her documentary Winter Reef that subjected the consequences of coral bleaching in the South Pacific. Utilizing her international background and passion for the arts, Savannah strives to execute non-fiction cinema of the highest caliper, whilst capturing the importance of environmental conservation using the art of film.
She hopes to use this medium to promote a sustainable planet and inspire others to make a difference.
